Precisely Measured

May-June, 2013

Gathered customer feedback through social media to determine the most important parts of the bill.

June-August, 2013

Collected more feedback through our “Heat Map” survey and Bill Builder tool.

July-August, 2013

Handed off to a team of designers, resulting in 280 versions – customers selected the top 4!

September, 2013

Customers rated the elements of the top 4 designs and a clear winner was identified.

October-December, 2013

ComEd developed a new prototype, validated the new design with customers, and began production testing.

February-March, 2014

Testing completed, new design approved, and the bill hits mailboxes in March.
