Energy Efficiency Loans provide special financing for the purchase and installation of qualified energy-efficiency products and services. Eligible homeowners, owners of residential buildings of 50 units or less and owners of small business buildings may apply. Your loan payment will be billed monthly on your ComEd bill.
ComEd is one of five Illinois utilities offering Energy Efficiency Loans, along with Ameren Illinois, Nicor Gas, Peoples Gas, and North Shore Gas. Each utility may have additional energy-efficient products and services that qualify for these loans. This program is offered by ComEd in accordance with Illinois public law.
You must pre-qualify for your loan prior to the purchase of any of these products or services. Pre-qualify by applying at
ILEnergyLoan.com. The interest rate is currently 5.74% for residential loans and 5.99% for multi-family and small business loans.* You will need your ComEd account number to complete the application. You may apply for both electric and natural gas energy-efficiency measures on the same application. Renew Financial processes all applications and makes all loan determinations. Funds for this program are limited.
