Single Family Home Energy Savings

ComEd customers have opportunities to reduce energy usage with a FREE energy assessment that includes free and discounted products for your home. Assessments can be in-home or virtual, so you can select the option most convenient to you.

You can also schedule an assessment by calling 1-855-433-2700. When you complete the screening process you will be scheduled for an assessment and income eligible customer homes will be evaluated for additional energy efficiency retrofits.

Energy Efficiency Retrofits

Energy efficiency retrofits that can enhance the comfort of your home with weatherization improvements are available to certain eligible customers. Qualifying customers must meet additional criteria, including but not limited to household income eligibility requirements.

  • Energy efficiency retrofits with weatherization improvements may reduce energy waste by up to 20%, lowering your energy costs and saving you money.
  • Experience better indoor air quality and enhance the comfort of your home.
  • Keep your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
  • Insulating and air sealing your attic and walls, and sealing air leaks in your ducts, are the most efficient measures. A qualifying Energy Efficiency Service Provider or Community Action Agency will complete the work.
