Customers can reduce energy use with FREE installation of the following FREE products:
ENERGY STAR® certified LEDsComEd will replace the incandescent and halogen light bulbs throughout your home with ENERGY STAR® certified LED bulbs. Certain restrictions apply.
Programmable thermostatsComEd will replace the manual thermostat in your home with a free programmable thermostat. ComEd will also help you to program your existing thermostat if you already have a programmable thermostat. Smart thermostats are available for purchase during your assessment at a discount and include FREE installation. Certain restrictions apply.
WaterSense® certified showerheadsWe will upgrade your current shower heads with energy efficient showerheads. Certain restrictions apply.
WaterSense® certified faucet aerators for bathrooms and kitchensWe will upgrade your current faucet aerators with energy efficient aerators. Certain restrictions apply.
Hot water pipe insulationComEd will insulate up to six feet of hot water pipe with insulation. Certain restrictions apply.
ENERGY STAR® certified Google Nest Learning smart thermostats are available for purchase at a discount during the assessment for $150 and include FREE installation. Only smart thermostats purchased during the assessment are eligible for installation.
ENERGY STAR certified Google Nest E smart thermostats are available for purchase at a discount during the assessment for $75 and include FREE installation. Only smart thermostats purchased during the assessment are eligible for installation.
You can purchase advanced power strips for your home office and entertainment systems during your assessment for $10 each. Installation is not included.

Your energy advisor will perform a walkthrough of your home to install the energy saving products in your home. After the walkthrough, the energy advisor will create a personalized report for your home identifying additional ways to save.
Single-family homes, two-flats, condos and townhomes are eligible. Renters in these building types are also eligible, with permission from their landlord.
Products must be installed by the energy advisor, and the energy advisor will not move furniture. The energy advisor will not install the energy-saving products if they are not confident they can install them safely or without damaging property. LED bulbs will only be installed in working fixtures with existing incandescent or halogen bulbs that are in use for at least two hours per day.
