Multi-Family Energy Assessment

Owners of multi-family buildings are eligible for a FREE energy assessment that will help you understand how your property uses energy. We have partnered with local natural gas companies to offer free products that will help you save money and reduce your impact on the environment.

Tenant Spaces

Tenants who live in multi-family residences are encouraged to let their landlord or property manager know about the multi-family energy savings opportunities offered by ComEd, Nicor Gas, North Shore Gas, and Peoples Gas.

Once a FREE energy assessment is completed, trained technicians will install FREE energy-saving products throughout the tenant spaces. These products may include:

  • ENERGY STAR® certified LEDs
  • Programmable thermostats
  • WaterSense® certified showerheads and faucet aerators
  • Hot water pipe insulation
