The ComEd Energy Efficiency Program can help commercial real estate customers save money and energy. All commercial properties receiving their electric service from ComEd are eligible.

How It Works:

1. Contact us to discuss opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.

2. A ComEd energy engineer will conduct a thorough investigative walkthrough to identify energy-saving strategies of your facility.

3. A ComEd engineer will review the results of the assessment with you a few weeks later, and connect you with an outreach representative who can help you with next steps. The assessment report identifies incentive opportunities such as:

• No-cost/low-cost operational opportunities that may result in energy savings
• Potential annual energy and dollar savings shown with simple paybacks and incentive amounts
• A financial benefit section grouping projects by simple payback, and showing the best economic opportunities
• Total annual energy and dollar savings, with total potential incentives dollars for all identified projects
• An executive summary containing environmental impacts, such as greenhouse gas reduction
