Each year, ComEd coordinates ticket offers so our customers can enjoy special events throughout the holiday season. Join us at one of our seven sponsored attractions for a chance to see spectacular displays of LED lights, engage with our Energy Efficiency team, and even swap out your holiday lights for a more efficient set.

ComEd is a presenting sponsor of Illumination, an outdoor event on a one-mile, paved path with interactive, LED lighting displays. See dazzling projections, trees that respond to touch and sound, and vivid colors throughout. Ticket purchasers will be asked to select an entry time when ordering their tickets. Chicago Botanic Garden hosts its annual Wonderland Express, including 750,000 lights illuminating the entrance of this 100% LED exhibition. This annual holiday extravaganza features magnificent model trains, magical and glittering indoor snow, and meticulously crafted Chicago landmarks in miniature. Chicagoland’s largest lights festival, Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo, features over one million LED lights. Many indoor exhibits remain open for viewing of animals, plus there will be singing to the animals (reindeer, big cats, bears) and special Zoo Chats. Enjoy a full schedule of nightly music and entertainment in the Pavilions, as well as nightly ice carving demonstrations, an amazing magic show, costumed characters, a model railroad display, and a 41 foot LED Talking Tree. The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau will host the fifth annual Stroll on State on Saturday, November 24 from 2 – 9 p.m. in downtown Rockford. This free holiday festival is full of events and activities from opening until close. Everything from live music performances, wagon rides, ice skating, shopping, s'mores, and even a visit with Santa himself.

ComEd is proud to support one of the largest free outdoor drive-through holiday light displays in Northern Illinois, the Aurora Festival of Lights, which returns for its twelfth year in 2018 with even more dazzling displays along a 1-mile drive through Phillips Park, 1000 Ray Moses Drive in Aurora. It is presented in partnership between the Rotary Club of Aurora and the City of Aurora.
