Chicagoland’s largest lights festival, Holiday Magic at Brookfield Zoo features over one million LED lights. Many indoor exhibits remain open for viewing of animals, plus there will be Singing to the Animals (Reindeer, Big Cats, Bears) and special Zoo Chats. The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau will host the fifth annual Stroll on State on Saturday, November 25 from 2 – 9 p.m. in downtown Rockford. This free holiday festival is full of events and activities from opening until close. Everything from live music performances, wagon rides, ice skating, shopping, s'mores, and even a visit with Santa himself.
ComEd is proud to be the new sponsor of Rockford River Lights, one of many attractions at Stroll on State. Located on the banks of the Rock River between State Street and Jefferson Street bridges, River Lights will have featured holiday shows of dancing and synchronized lights to music on Friday and Saturday nights from November 25 – through December 31. Shows are free and occur every 15 minutes between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. On non-show nights, Rockford's River Lights stay on each night and illuminate the riverbanks.
ComEd is proud to support one of the largest free outdoor drive-through holiday light displays in Northern Illinois, the Aurora Festival of Lights, which returns for its eleventh year in 2017 with even more dazzling displays along a 1-mile drive through Phillips Park, 1000 Ray Moses Drive in Aurora. It is presented in partnership between the Rotary Club of Aurora and the City of Aurora.
