Customers' Touch Unlocks Powerful New ComEd App

​Get energy, weather and outage updates with new mobile app

CHICAGO (Feb. 6, 2018) – ComEd recently updated its free mobile app to make it even easier for customers to securely access account information on-the-go. Featuring fingerprint login, push notifications and faster bill payment, the app makes it simple to manage more than one account at a time and is available to both residential and business customers on smartphones and tablets.

“Our updated mobile app is just one of the ways we’re providing customers with options to easily get the information they want, the way they want to receive it,” said Erica Borggren, vice president of customer channels for ComEd. “More than ever, people rely on their smartphones to do business and access information. We want our customers to have that convenient option when it comes to their energy use, too.”

New and updated app features allow customers to:

• Log in with their fingerprint.
• View energy usage details.
• Receive personalized alerts and set notification preferences.
• View in-depth usage and program information.
• Report an outage and check the status of an outage without logging in.
• Access and manage their account as a business customer.

Customers can manage account-specific communication within the alerts section of the updated app. The ComEd free mobile app is available through the App Store or Google Play. Learn more and download the app at
