Give a ComEd gift certificate for special occasions or to anyone on your holiday gift list. Convenient and thoughtful, they can be used towards any ComEd utility bill. Congregations and charities can also purchase gift certificates in bulk to help those who are in need of assistance. The gift certificates do not expire, and are available in amounts of $25, $50 and $100.

The gift certificates come in a convenient gift sleeve. When ordered online or by phone, gift certificates can be mailed to you or directly to the recipient of your gift. (One recipient per order allowed.) Please allow one to two weeks for orders shipped USPS. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.
ComEd gift certificates do not expire and can be used by any ComEd customer to pay their ComEd utility bill. Recipients simply mail the gift certificate as payment with their ComEd utility bill or present the gift certificates along with their ComEd bill at one of ComEd's
authorized agents. The gift certificate amount will be applied toward their ComEd bill.
If you are the recipient of a gift certificate, please print your name and ComEd account number on the gift certificate to ensure that the gift certificate is properly credited to your account.

Disclosures: ComEd gift certificates may be redeemed only in connection with the payment of a ComEd utility bill. ComEd gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash. A fee in excess of the face value of the gift certificate will be charged at the time of purchase. No other fees will be charged by ComEd for gift certificates that are mailed directly to ComEd. Payment through ComEd’s authorized agents may incur an additional service fee. ComEd gift certificates do not have an expiration date and may be redeemed in perpetuity. When a ComEd gift certificate is submitted to pay a ComEd utility bill and the value of that gift certificate exceeds the amount that the customer owes on his or her utility bill, ComEd will credit the customer’s account with the unused balance of the gift certificate amount. ComEd is not responsible for gift certificates mailed via first-class mail (USPS). Gift certificates not received are considered lost and/or stolen.
