Temporary Service

Request temporary service to your home or construction site. Temporary service is used for new construction and remodeling projects where permanent service is not applicable. Call ComEd at 1-866-New-Elec.

Installation & New Meter

Request a new meter in locations where ComEd Service has not yet been installed. Includes remodels that now provide separate service to each unit, new buildings and new subdivisions.

Make a request for residential subdivisions (5 lots or more outside the City of Chicago). These requests will be routed to ComEd Residential Design.

Service Revisions

Request a service revision if you have existing ComEd service but need modifications to that service—such as changing overhead service to underground service, line extensions, relocations, or upgrades to support additional voltage.

Removal & Demolition

Request the removal of a ComEd meter from an existing location for remodels that remove individual unit metering to single metering and building or large location demolition. Your New Business Representative

When you call or submit your service request a ComEd New Business representative will be assigned to your project. The New Business representative will be your single point of contact for the design and installation of your electric service.
