Start, Stop or Move Service
Landlords
If you are a landlord, you should complete the agreement with ComEd that provides uninterrupted service and automatic billing when tenants vacate the premise. With this agreement, landlords will be responsible for the electric service during the period of time when the premise is vacant. Note: Participation in the Landlord Agreement Program requires written notice by the landlord and will be processed within seven (7) days of receipt. The agreement will remain in effect until the landlord notifies ComEd to remove their name from service.
To sign up for the Landlord Agreement Program, you need to follow these steps:
- Print the Landlord Agreement Enrollment form (pdf)
- Complete and sign the enrollment form and provide complete details of the premise address and unit numbers. Note: You may complete as many forms as needed for your building.
- Fax the completed agreement form to ComEd at (630) 684-2692.
