Our New Construction service provides financial incentives and, in many cases, technical assistance to encourage building owners, designers and architects to surpass standard, new construction, renovation and lighting practices.
Three Participation Approaches Available
ComEd’s New Construction service features three approaches to allow participation by customers in various stages of design and with various design features.
- Buildings in early design can take advantage of whole building modeling and incentives.
- Buildings with completed designs can qualify for incentives by specifying more energy efficient technologies such as lighting and HVAC equipment.
- There are even incentives available for small-building owners looking to integrate lighting and daylighting designs that reduce the amount of energy consumed in both renovation and new construction projects.
