As you look for ways to reduce energy in your business or public sector facility, you may find innovative opportunities that do not qualify for standard incentives. If your idea reduces electricity use, the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program team wants to hear about it — and may provide you with an incentive to move the project forward.
Custom incentives are based on the actual kilowatt-hour savings achieved by the project in the first year. Qualifying projects can earn incentives up to $.07 per kWh saved.
Involve ComEd before your project begins. Pre-approval is required for custom incentives, be sure to contact ComEd early in the project development process (before you start your project). We can help verify your project eligibility, discuss documentation requirements, and provide you with technical assistance that will help your project succeed.

Funds are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Facilities with large, complex systems and processes have many opportunities to save.
